This is how the catching system works, for every route I will show the catch rate of the pokemon that can be found in the thread that shows them.
The pokeball can catch pokemon with a catch rate of 1-20
The great ball can catch pokemon with a catch rate of 1-50
The ultra ball can catch pokemon with a catch rate of 1-100
A Master ball has a 100% chance of catching any pokemon of any catch rate.
Just because a pokemon has the catch rate in the range of the pokemon doesn't mean it will always catch, the lower the lower the catch rate, the easier it gets to catch it. The minimum catch rate is 1 and the maximum is 100. Ex. If a pokemon has a catch rate of 1, it will have pretty much a .01% Chance of escaping a great ball. But if pokemon with a catch rate of 100 (Which is only one pokemon: Arceus.) is attempted to be caught in a pokeball, it will have pretty much a 90%chance of getting caught. If you try to catch a pokemon with a number outside of the balls range, it's still possible to catch but it will have an extremely high chance of escaping, for example, if you try to catch a pokemon with the catch rate of 50 with a pokeball, the pokemon will have a 99% chance of escaping.
